1. What is the ELF Home system?

2. What is the lifespan of ELF Home buildings?

The ELF HOME Panel system is a reinforced lightweight reinforced concrete system. In terms of lifespan, it is no different from conventional reinforced concrete structures. Its components include galvanized steel wire, concrete, insulation plaster, and EPS. The steel wire is coated with zinc galvanization to extend its service life. Since the EPS (polystyrene) is located inside the panel and protected by the wire mesh and concrete layers, it is not exposed to impacts, pressure, extreme temperatures, or ultraviolet rays. Therefore, the lifespan of EPS is much longer than the building itself. As a result, modern panel reinforced concrete buildings maintain their strength and thermal insulation for 50–60 years, which is considered their economic service life.

3. Are ELF Home panels fire-resistant? Are they allowed by regulations?

Yes. With the application of ELF-ISO perlite-enhanced insulation plaster developed by ELF HOME, structures achieve a high level of fire resistance, creating safe living and working spaces. ELF Home panels are produced and applied in compliance with Turkish building regulations and international standards. They meet all technical requirements such as thermal, acoustic, fire insulation, and earthquake resistance. ELF HOME Panels are officially certified products with ETA (European Technical Assessment) certification. Therefore, there are no restrictions on their use by public institutions. They are also listed in the unit price catalogs of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. Thermal insulation and all other technical compliance values can be officially submitted to municipalities and public authorities upon request.
